Over the past two years, Dewanna Martin has lost 97 pounds. In 2021, she became a Life Changer, was selected to speak at a university, and began encouraging others in their wellness journeys. Now, she has completed several rounds of The 15 Day Challenge, throughout which she has added more exercise to her routine, increased her knowledge of nutrition, and managed to “stay connected with consistency, endurance, and a stronger mindset.”

Week 3 Dewana MartinMartin used The 15 Day Challenge as a mode of self-motivation. “I kept showing up even when I didn’t feel like it. I continue to speak into my own life and encourage myself daily.” She reminded herself to take pride in her accomplishments, which motivated her to keep pushing.

Throughout this round of the challenge, Martin grew closer with The 15 Day Challenge community, receiving encouragement from others and doling it out herself. “It feels so good when you’re able to help others. It feels good knowing that I’m not alone,” she said. “We draw strength from each other.”
